Role Description

The Sr. Technical Consultant role is primarily responsible for discussing technical requirements with Clients and tailoring recommendations for configuring and delivering Alkami’s software products to meet their needs. As a Sr. Technical Consultant, you will be a part of a team of talented people responsible for implementing a complex enterprise banking software solution in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. You will be assigned up to four concurrent projects for which you will serve as the primary technical point of contact responsible for communicating industry best practices and Alkami platform functionality. The role also involves mentoring other teammates and assisting them with high-complexity situations and tasks.

  • Serves as the primary technical consulting resource for 3-4 digital banking conversion projects
  • Ability to independently handle complex on-site client discussions and virtual working sessions
  • Conduct complex solution design sessions to gather client information and project requirements
  • Identify project risk, proactively mitigate, and raise concerns to the leadership team
  • Works daily tasks independently and assists other team members with their work as necessary
  • Assists internal project resources and external customers with Alkami platform functionality questions and best practices
  • Provides subject matter expertise and engages cross-functionally in at least one area of the Alkami platform
  • Mentors other team members and assists the organization with knowledge transfer
  • Provides contributions to process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of technical background and experience
  • 5+ Years of customer-facing and client-interaction experience
  • 3+ Years of application troubleshooting or experience in the financial technology industry
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Requirements

  • Previous financial technology experience
  • Previous experience conducting presentations and leading group conversations
  • Previous experience in application troubleshooting, development, or consulting
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Capability to communicate complex and technical topics to an audience of varying technical competency
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects at once
  • Previous process improvement and documentation experience
