Role Description
The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in supporting our technology organization by providing value-added financial analysis, modeling, operational analysis, and other ad-hoc analysis to enhance decision making particularly focused on the company’s data center migration.
- Analyze complex data models that will require being able to tie data from several sources
- Research, analyze, and report on financial and accounting inquiries for the division
- Routine communication with product leaders for reporting
- Work with several product managers to collect business requirements
- Implement data science models to enhance predictive capabilities of the business
- Create detailed documentation and process flows and provide insights to create a detailed and scaled data model
- Prepare and analyze the periodic management reporting of financial results for the project
- Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, recommending actions to management
- Create dashboards for senior management that will be used to lead strategic decisions for the business
Qualifications
- Masters in Data Science or Business Analytics preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in performance management, analysis and decision support
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, generate alternatives and clearly communicate findings to drive positive change
- Ability to grasp understanding of business models and key drivers quickly and independently
- Demonstrated ability to make effective presentations
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and personnel
- Robust experience with creating dashboards
- Demonstrated proficiency with expert Python or R experience preferred
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize assignments and work effectively under time constraints
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven record of financial planning and strategy decisions
- Must be able to meet deadlines and deliver timely and accurate results
- Thorough planning and organization skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced, hands-on environment
- Ability to succeed in a team environment and perform cross-functional duties as required
- Understanding of accounting processes, procedures and internal controls
- Strong research and analysis skills
