The Opportunity
We’re looking for an E-Commerce Manager to own the day-to-day execution and optimisation of Kurk’s online channels. Working with our small strategic team and reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be the hands-on powerhouse ensuring every digital touchpoint—from website content updates to marketing automation—runs seamlessly and delivers an outstanding experience to our customers. You’ll be instrumental in the rapid growth and rebuilding of our site, with the ability to mould the tech stack to the cutting edge as you see fit.
Your mission? Keep Kurk’s digital operations firing on all cylinders while constantly testing, refining, and improving our online customer journey. This means diving deep into split tests, optimising upsells, enhancing tracking, and continually improving the store. You’ll also be responsible for building an efficient team and system to optimise our e-commerce presence. Key Responsibilities

Daily E-Commerce Operations

Manage and update our Shopify storefront, implementing new product launches, promotions, and landing pages.

Oversee inventory accuracy, pricing strategies, and digital catalog maintenance to ensure flawless customer experiences.

Performance & Optimization

Dive into KPIs—conversion rates, SEO rankings, email open rates, and more—to make agile improvements that boost revenue.

Maintain Klaviyo campaigns, continually testing subject lines, segmentation, and content to maximize engagement and ROI. This includes being highly technical and actively running split tests, optimizing upsells, and enhancing tracking.

Collaboration & Alignment

Work closely with the Science, Marketing, and Creative teams to sync product launches, branding updates, and promotional calendars.

Partner with external agencies or freelancers (e.g., PPC specialists or developers) to ensure projects stay on track and meet performance goals.

Customer Experience & Retention

Monitor on-site search, user flows, and feedback loops to constantly refine the shopping experience.

Coordinate with Customer Service to tackle real-time issues, deliver frictionless solutions, and cultivate brand loyalty.

Continuous Innovation

Stay in tune with emerging e-commerce trends, tools, and tech—especially AI-driven solutions—to keep Kurk at the forefront of the industry.

Propose fresh ideas for campaigns, site enhancements, or marketing channels that can drive incremental growth. You will solve big problems related to optimizing our digital operations.

Reporting & Insights

Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports to the Management team, highlighting wins, challenges, and next steps.

Track budgets, forecast revenue, and contribute to strategic planning alongside the leadership team.
About You
-
Hands-On E-Commerce Pro: 3+ years managing online stores on Shopify (or similar platforms), with a knack for Klaviyo email automation and various Analytics. You are technical and excel at implementing split tests, upsells, and tracking.

Operational Dynamo: You’re equally comfortable rolling out daily site updates or jumping into the data to find quick wins.

Data-Driven & Detail-Oriented: You notice the small details that can make or break a conversion rate and take immediate action to optimize.

Team Player: Skilled at collaborating with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, design), and adept at communicating needs and updates. You are capable of building and managing an efficient team.

Problem-Solver: You see roadblocks as puzzles to solve and thrive in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment.

Growth Mindset: Driven to continuously improve, learn new tools, and keep Kurk’s digital channels on the leading edge of innovation. If you struggle to figure out next technologies or edit basic lines of code, this role probably won’t be for you.
