Power BI Visualization/Dashboard Developer
Broadway Ventures is seeking a skilled and creative Power BI Visualization/Dashboard Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement interactive dashboards that drive informed decision-making across the organization. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to transform complex data into clear, insightful visual stories.
Data Analysis and Insight Development

Analyze complex datasets to extract actionable insights aligned with business goals

Identify and define key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure accurate interpretation within reports and dashboards
Dashboard and Visualization Design

Develop user-friendly, visually compelling dashboards using Power BI

Leverage a variety of visualization tools, including charts, graphs, maps, and slicers, to enhance data storytelling
Data Modeling and Integration

Build efficient, high-performing data models within Power BI

Cleanse, transform, and aggregate data from various sources such as databases, spreadsheets, and cloud applications

Ensure data accuracy and consistency throughout all dashboards
Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective dashboard solutions

Recommend improved data utilization methods based on analysis and user feedback
Optimization and Documentation

Continuously refine dashboards for performance and usability

Document data sources, transformation processes, and dashboard specifications

Apply quality assurance protocols to validate data integrity
Training and Support

Develop training materials and conduct sessions for end-users

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for dashboard-related issues
Innovation and Best Practices

Stay current with the latest Power BI features and industry best practices

Promote and apply standards for clear, accurate, and consistent visual communication

Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Bachelors is preferred

Proven experience in developing interactive dashboards with Power BI; familiarity with Tableau, Excel, or QlikView is a plus

Strong grasp of data modeling, analysis, and visualization techniques

Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation

Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Power BI certification or similar credentials preferred
